Install socket, then insert caster. You may want to “drill & tack nail” the bottom face or add some silicon sealer to the hole when installing. Attach to inside of frame with wood screws . These hard to find sockets are now available for purchase separately. Sockets may be returned for exchange only, please measure carefully.

This socket is used to install casters with a 7/16″ Diameter Grip Ring Stem on WOOD furniture. To attach, drill a 5/8″ x 1 1/2″ hole. Insert socket and attach with 1/4″ wood screws . Attach caster by drilling a 3/8″ x 1 5/8″ hole.
